After the season in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup with a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, ended with a close finish to the Top 10 in Barcelona, ​​for Michele Beretta it is again time to get back on track. The italian driver is indeed already at Nurburgring to take part in the penultimate round of VLN, the endurance series that race exclusively on the “Green Hell”, better know as old Nordschleife; as planned, Beretta will be at the start on the Audi R8 LMS GT3 managed by Phoenix Racing team, the same one with which it had excelled last July, reaching the eighth place overall and the win in Pro-Am class. Together with him, for this event called 51. ADAC Barbarossapreis (4 hours race), Steve Jans and Kim-Luis Schramm in a challenge that sees over 160 cars in the entry list.

Michele Beretta: “After the positive end in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup series, where we could easily get the best result of the season without many neutralizations and so on, I am very pleased to return at Nurburgring for the VLN. In July we went really well and I felt at ease with the guys from Phoenix Racing, even though it was my first time at the wheel of the Audi R8; in this 4 hours the target is to repeat the result, increasing the feeling too in a really difficult context as VLN is, with a view on 2020 programs.

After Friday’s free practice, the VLN drivers will be very busy on Saturday 12th October starting at 08.30 am with the only qualify session; at 12.00 the start of the race, which can be followed in live streaming on www.vln.de or on the YouTube channel “Nürburgring”.
