It is a busy season that is experiencing Michele Beretta in his first year in the world of Gran Turismo cars within a Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Grasser Racing Team. For its home race, scheduled this weekend at Red Bull Ring, the austrian team directed by Gottfried Grasser has decided to field a third Lamborghini Huracan GT3 for Michele Beretta, who will share the car with the young german driver Nicolas Pohler. For Michele it will be an opportunity to get back behind the wheel after the race of the Blancpain GT Sprint Series at Nurburgring and the following test completed in Spa-Francorchamps for the forthcoming 24 hours race. The ADAC GT Masters race, characterized by a Balance of Performance similar to the continental series with same tire, will be an important testfor Beretta and the team, usually already busy with two cars in this championship at the highest level.
Michele Beretta: “Grasser Racing team asked me to be at the start of the ADAC GT Masters race at the Red Bull Ring and of course I could not say no! It will be another opportunity to compete with high-end drivers and at the same time further refine and preparing my team for the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. I really like the austrian circuit and the test completed here in the past weeks gave us a great feedback and together Nicolas we could do really well this weekend.”
The austrian week end will start on Friday with two free practice sessions, scheduled at 12.35 and at 16.35; Qualifying 1 will held on saturday at 9.40 before the first race, which will take over the 35 GT3 at the start at 13.15. Sunday, July 24th will be the turn of the Qualification 2 (8.30) and Race 2, which will start at 12.15.
