Michele Beretta is ready for the thrilling appointment at the 24H of Nürburgring, one of the few races in the world able to offer continuous fights between the 120 cars at the start on a very long and treacherous circuit like few others in the world, with an unpredictable weather conditions.
In this exciting and at the same time impressive scenario Michele will be busy from 18 to 20 May.
The charm of this race, so unique and difficult, immediately involved Mike, since when in 2019 he competed for the first time in the 24 Hours on the more than 22 kilometres of the Nordschleife.
In his fifth participation at the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, Michele is aiming for an important placement, even though he knows how many unexpected events and pitfalls this race hides. In the previous editions Mike has always been among the protagonists, but never managing to get on the podium.Michele will be at the wheel of one of the Phoenix Racing Audi R8 LMS Evo 2, one of the best team, with which Mike has already played many of the challenges on the German track, including the test last month in preparation of the 24H.
The components of this competition, as already mentioned, are many and such as to make you shiver. On the track, Mike will compete on equal terms with the best specialists in the world, including Mike, and the most famous GTs such as: Audi, Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche and BMW.
Hundreds of thousands of people will be trackside so as not to miss a moment of the race and millions of people will follow the event in live streaming.
There are all the premises to expect a fantastic show, as Mike hopes: “The 24 hours of the Nürburgring is a race that has many unforeseen situations, you go from dry to rain suddenly and in the same lap you can find it dry and wet, given the length of the track. I will have at my disposal the Audi R8 LMS Evo 2 managed by the Phoenix team who have always provided me with cars with an excellent set-up and very fast.
This year in the preparatory races we haven’t done many kilometers due to accidents, so we’re waiting to see what happens.
