This week end Michele will be racing in the ADAC 24H of Nürburgring at the wheel of the Phoenix Racing Team’s Audi R8 LMS GT3. To the innate charm of this race is added the joy of the audience’s return on the track and in the paddock.
One of the most important event of Michele’s 2021 programme is the 24 Hours on the iconic German track, that takes place this weekend (4 – 6 June). The challenge on the Nordschleife has been a constant for Michele for several season and also this year nothing has been overlooked in the preparation for this event which enhances the driving quality and the team’s organization.
In the races that preceded the ADAC 24h, Michele won two deserved podium, a third and a second place, without forgetting the fantastic pole position signed in the recent 6 Hours.

These races, finished with good results, were the occasion for Michele to prepare the 24 Hours in the best way, allowing him to be, together with his team mates, among the favourites. Michele arrives at the 24 Hours ADAC of Nurbrigring in a great shape, after the fantastic victory at the opening race of the International GT Open, where he won the Lamborghini Hurracan.
On the Phoenix Racing Team’s R8 GT3, with blue and red livery, Michele will have at his side valuable drivers like Frank Stippler, Kim Luis Schramm and Nicki Thiim.
“We are at the moment of truth. Now we will have to do our best to capitalize the hard work done and no mistakes will be allowed. If it will rain, we will have to be more careful and try to stay in front during the night, in order to fight for the victory in the final phases. This race holds many surprises, as happened last year, when, after many hours under the rain, we were in front and we were stopped by an unexpected problem.”
Michele describes pragmatically his approach to the race, of an excellent experience gained in races of this kind and on very difficult circuits such as Le Mans, Daytona, Spa and, in fact, Nurbrigring.
Any single moment of the race can be followed in live streaming on the official web site
