The third round of the International GT Open is on stage at the Hungaroring and sees Michele attending in second place in the overall standings, with two victories and as many top positions, gained at Paul Ricard (Fra) and at Spa (Bel).
This weekend the commitment will be particularly hard for “Mike”, as always flanked by Schandorff and supported by Vincenzo Sospiri Racing. The temperatures on the winding Hungarian circuit are expected to be particularly high, but the intense challenge with direct rivals, the leaders of the standings, Soucek and Al Zubair (Porsche 911 GT3), makes the atmosphere extremely heated.
As required by the regulations, Michele’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO will have to serve a penalty of 1 15 “in the race, due to the winning crew of the last round, which took place at Spa.
To give Michele and his entire team a further boost there is the awareness that two crucial races for the championship will be held within a fortnight. In fact, after Hungary, the International GT Open will stop off at Imola (23-25 July), before a long break that will last two months.
The two Hungarian races, in which Michele will be one of the protagonists, will also be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel.
In Italy, the thematic channel MS MotorTV / Sky 228 will broadcast dedicated services.
