For the 2025 season, Michele Beretta will once again compete in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. The Italian will be behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO entered by Vincenzo Sospiri Racing, the same team with which he will also compete in the Italian GT Endurance Championship.
Michele’s racing season will be entirely under the VSR banner, kicking off next weekend with the first of five rounds in the prestigious international series dedicated to GT cars.
Beretta will share the cockpit of the #60 Huracán with fellow Italian Alessio Deledda and British driver Finlay Hutchinson, forming a crew that will compete in the Silver class.
An impressive 59 entries are expected at the Paul Ricard 6 Hours, spread across the Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories, with 10 of the world’s top GT manufacturers represented on the grid.
Ahead of the French round, Michele commented:
“We have a solid line-up: Hutchinson already has experience in this type of championship, while Deledda raced in the GT Open last year with VSR, so he knows the car well. The GT World Challenge is a series that offers very little room for error. With limited track time, it’s crucial to have a clear plan from the outset and make the most of every session. The most prestigious race is undoubtedly the 24 Hours of Spa, but the overall level of competition, both among teams and driverS, is extremely high. Strategy, pit stop management, and reliability really make the difference here. I’ve raced in this championship with VSR in the past, and this year we have the added value of direct support from Lamborghini, which gives us a strong technical reference point. I truly hope this allows us to achieve great results.”
