Michele Beretta will be on track at the Nürburgring in the incoming weekend for the GT World Challenge Europe, where he will be behind the wheel of the Haupt Racing Team’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 with which he already won the 24 Hours of Spa last year.

Before getting back in the International GT Open (where he’s actually lead the standings), the young italian driveer will compete on the 5,100 meters of the Nürburgring, alongside Patrick Assenhlmer and Huber Haupt in the Silver Cup. During the long summer break, between the last win in Imola and this race, the driver managed by 4 Motorsport didn’t stop the training keeping high the concentration.

I am tester for Pirelli and this job gives me great satisfaction as I enjoy the trust of an important manufacturer. The tests I carry out allow me to increase my experience and allow me to spend a lot of time behind the wheel and this represents the best training for a driver. At the Nürburgring I always run with pleasure, even if in this case we will not be on the legendary Nordschleife, but on the F1 circuit and with Haupt Racing I have raced in the past and won the 24 Hours of Spa. Racing this weekend, a week before returning to the track for the restart of the GT Open, it will be useful for me to better resume the race mechanisms.
