The target in Barcelona is only one: the 2016 Silver Cup champions title in the Blancpain GT Series. For Michele Beretta and Luca Stolz the last round of the season on the Catalan circuit of Montmelo promises high-octane team rate: the Grasser Racing duo arrive in Barcelona as standing leaders 24 points ahead of nearest rivals, on a circuit that in winter testing have seen the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in a good condition. A very good end of the season for the driver from Lecco, who on Sunday could celebrate a new major trophy in his career: “From Le Castellet our performance went considerably growing, after a first half of the season with some difficulties – says Michele Beretta – In Barcelona last March we did an important test session and this will surely helpful as a basis in the right way from the free practice; it is not an easy circuit, it is quite hard on tires and certainly the fight will be tight but, as shown at Nurburgring, we are able to fight for the overall podium and a result like this, in the last race of 2016 Blancpain GT Series, would be great… obviously together the Silver Cup title!“
