Michele Beretta will return on track this weekend for the second round of Blancpain GT Sprint Cup Series, scheduled in Brands Hatch. On the legendary and difficult british circuit, located just few miles outside London, the young driver from Lecco is called for a new positive result in the Top 10 after the withdrawn in Monza, where his Lamborghini was push out by another car.
Michele Beretta: “Brands Hatch is the only track in the championship on which I have never raced; I have worked many hours on simulator to prepare the race, and I did some laps on a road car to see all features of this amazing racetrack. After the excellent performance of our car int the ADAC GT Masters race last week end at Sachsenring, we are very confident to get good result there. Sachsenring and Brands Hatch are two similar tracks, with fast corners and many ups and downs; this should allow us to start with a good base set-up.”
The second round of Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup starts with the free practice and qualifying on Saturday, May 7th; Sunday is the race day, with the first one scheduled at 12:05 and the second one at 16:20, visible both in live streaming on www.blancpain-gt-series.com
